Hi, my name is Angie  and I'm from Melbourne, Australia.  I have three children and they inspired me in creating invitations that would make them laugh. There is nothing in the world more precious than a smile on a child's face. That is our motto here at Funnyshots.

Shortly after my first son was born, I began organising his Christening and went looking for invitations. I was looking for unique and personalised invitations but couldn't find anything, so I started to create my own designs and from there continued designing his birthday invitations. As my son got older, he was able to give me ideas for his birthday invitations and that was when we decided to incorporate his photo into the invitation. The first invitation I designed was the Buzz Lightyear invite, which has my son's head shot replacing Buzz' Head. My son couldn't stop laughing when he saw himself as Buzz.

Funnyshots were created from my own personal collection of custom designed invitations which I created for my own children's birthdays. Every time I finished an invitation, I would get immediate requests from friends and family to design an invitation for their children's birthdays. After many years of creating new and fun designs, it just made sense to share them with the rest of the world. If my invitations can make children laugh then I have accomplished my goal and that is to 'put a smile on a child's face'.
